Attraction marketing online today is a mish-mash of information, some pointing you toward one direction and others in another direction. Attraction Marketing – What Is It?

Attraction marketing is about leading first with value. But how do you know you have value? Well, you don’t! Not until you start looking for it in yourself.

How do you decide to buy a product or service? You do some research, you compare prices and then you make a decision. That is the way large number of people purchase things.

There is value inherent in everything; it’s just about finding that value and making it your own. So the way you can be a provider of value is to find out exactly what you value and how you value it.

Then when that is known, you become the source of value.

Attraction Marketing – You Will Suck At First

In the beginning, you will just plainly “suck”. No matter how “hard” you try, or how much time you spend on something, you will just suck at providing value.

But these are very necessary steps in the discovery process of the value you yourself have and can project. For some individuals, finding out just what they have to offer may take months, years, or even weeks.

The rate at which some progress will depend on many factors. So, once you get over the fact that you will be terrible at the beginning, you can then begin to focus on just what value you can provide.

Attraction Marketing – Providing Value

Mike Dillard has written a book called Magnetic Sponsoring that goes into detail about what is necessary to effect the transformation necessary to becoming an attraction marketing expert. Magnetic Sponsoring is a 78-page book delivered in electronic format and has on the inside principles that lay the foundation for your business whether you are attracting online or offline.

Attraction marketing may appear to be an easy thing to do but in fact may have more challenges than you would first anticipate. On page 25 of Magnetic Sponsoring, Mike Dillard writes:

“It doesn’t exist. I make more money than you because I work 10 times harder than you, I sacrificed 10 times longer than you, and I invested 10 times more money than you in my education.”

This quote was in response to someone asking whether Magnetic Sponsoring and attraction marketing online was the “holy grail” of marketing. The education Mike was talking about is the education in yourself. Not college. But fundamental education in yourself, in marketing, in business, and in providing value.
